As the Nourot Studio enters into the forth decade with the hand blown glass. They are known for the intense red color. Michael studied with the master glass blowers in Murano, Italy, and still maintains their own formulas for the red glass. Sands from special locales in the U.S. are used for each of the red formulas at the Nourot Studio. The quest for the perfection in their glass is achieved from their constant attention to the glass ingredients.
This "Scarlet Nova" vase glows with the intense red color and black lip wrap and black foot. The pattern on the bulb of the vase include gold flakes of 23K.
