Edward Kachurik Art Glass 3 Sided Amber Sculpture F24
Edward Kachurik began working in glass in 1978. He uses a technique of coloring the hot glass surface called veiling, this is a metallic coating that is applied to the hot-glass surface. After the pieces have cooled, they are hand ground and go through six different steps of polishing. This technique is unique to Kachurik's work.
The three sided egg with has two blue veils with an amber exterior. Each angle gives a different view of the faceted sides.
