Nourot Glass Studio enters into the fourth decade making handmade blown glass. The Nourot Studio was established in 1973 in San Francisco, and soon after Michael moved to Benicia, California with his new partner and wife Ann Corcoran. His collections include series work, and one-of-a-kind art.
Nourot Glass Studio produces the mini size vase in the vibrant and deep red colors they are known for. The size is just right for the collector with the limited space, but still wants the signature works of the Nourot studio. The black base and the black lip wrap contrasts the deep red color, and leads the eye to the gold luster that is the crown of the vase. All Nourot Studio glass pieces are still signed and registered by the same method since the studio began: studio,series letters, piece number, year and artist't initials.
