Nourot Glass Studio enters into the fourth decade making handmade blown glass. The Nourot Studio was established in 1973 in San Francisco, and soon after Michael moved to Benicia, California with his new partner and wife Ann Corcoran. His collections include series work, and one-of-a-kind art.
Nourot Glass Studio produces the Lipfoot vase in the striking C'ezanne pattern. Solidity and broad strokes define C'ezanne's style. Each piece of the C'ezanne pattern begins with a layer of orange-red glass, over this is placed the "strokes" of heavy colors, lavender, purple, orange, cobalts, copper, over white.
All Nourot Studio glass pieces are signed and registered by the same method since the studio began: studio,series letters, piece number, year and artist's initials.
