Edward Kachurik Art Glass J60 Large Three Panel Sculpture
Edward Kachurik began working in glass in 1978. He uses a technique of coloring the hot glass surface called veiling, this is a metallic coating that is applied to the hot-glass surface. After the pieces have cooled, they are hand ground and go through six different steps of polishing. This technique is unique to Kachurik's work.
Every design is handcrafted using wooden blocks and newspaper to work the molten glass. This large three panel sculpture is the best selling design of the studio. This solid piece of glass, is a marvelous gift for a special occasion. Shown in the pictures are a crystal and a black onyx base that are available. Each base does allow for a plate to be attached for an award.
